Matcha Movies is an award winning production company that was founded in London in 2023 by Matthew Simpson. Its goal is to tell stories in a way thats never been seen before, and that live on beyond the screen.

Matthew Simpson is an English actor and commercial director, known for Masters of the Air, Bansu, Annihilation, and EastEnders. With over 30 commercials to his name, he has a deep passion for indie cinema and storytelling that pushes boundaries.
Originally from the coastal town of Lowestoft, England, Matthew moved to London for drama school, where his love for acting and filmmaking grew. After graduating in 2010, he appeared in indie films before transitioning into directing, working on commercials for top brands.
His experience on both sides of the camera led him to create Disremember, Matcha Movies first film, and Matthews debut. Disremember was an entirely solo production which has gone on to win multiple awards are reputable festivals. His next feature Beats Per Limit is his next step into pushing the boundaries of filmmaking through a personal untold story.
